Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for an interesting investigation at Settle Victoria Hall, the worlds oldest continually operating music hall! This beautiful and historic building didnt disappoint, and after a slow start we began to get some really interesting responses across the Spiritboxes and temperature sensors, with cold spots being felt throughout the building and the temperature sensor continually showing a rise as opposed to a drop. We had some great answers throughout the night, with the same two male voices and a female voice being heard. One of the males identified himself quite early on as being "Robert", who then corrected us to either "Rob" or "Bob". He told us he worked at the venue, but didnt specify his role and didnt seem to want to give us any more answers to questions, instead affecting the temperature whenever he was mentioned and saying the odd word to let us know he was still there. The female voice we heard sounded upset, and we struggled to figure out what she was saying, but as soon as we tried the Estes method our returning customer who had volunteered to listen remarked he could hear a female scream twice. Quite often it appeared as though the three spirits were communicating with each other, and any responses given to us were almost passing comments to let us know they were still with us even if they didnt want to delve into any further detail. We managed to get the name "Tom" through, which led us to believe that the lady was either waiting for or looking for a Tom who we thought must have been her brother, and when we asked where he was the response we got was "green". We took this to mean that he could have potentially have been one of the soldiers who had signed up at the venue and had potentially been buried in a green, but struggled to get any more specific information through. We split into smaller groups, with one group heading to the upstairs dressing room where we continued to get interesting temperature spikes on the sensor, distinctive cold spots and two cat ball interactions, but again reluctance to answer our questions and nothing on our EVP session. The other group investigated the balcony, where they too where getting more temperature responses and they witnessed one of the chairs moving! We paused for a short break, and tried a ouija board after this but with no responses. A group of brave customers conducted a solo investigation in one of the storage rooms downstairs, getting some more fantastic responses on the spirit box and the temperature sensor on the SB7, before having the door slam behind them when they decided to leave the room! We ended the night swapping the groups between the dressing room and the balcony again, with some more fantastic spiritbox and temperature communication in the dressing room. Rob, Tom and the female spirit came back through, and we got the impression that this seemed to be their hotspot within the building. One of our customers cleverly pieced together than the room was not only painted green, but also referred to as the green room and further temperature responses confirmed she was correct and that this was where we had previously been told Tom was! We continued to struggle getting specific answers to our questions, even though the communication was steady and consistent, but what we did decifer was that the female spirit was still upset and "hated" Rob and Tom, and was potentially trying to "run" from them. We appeared to get a positive response when we asked if the spirits were connected to the school that was previously on the site as opposed to the music hall. Quite often throughout the night, we got the feeling of people behind us when theyre was nobody there, feeling as though rooms we were about to enter would be occupied when they were empty and sounds of movement, taps and knocks. Even though the impression we got about the relationship between the three spirits was negative and some of the answers gave us chills, the overwhelming feeling of the building was extremely comforting and welcoming, with a warm, protective atmosphere and although the some of the words coming through at different points of the night were "run", "get out", "leave" and in one incident some swearing, we never felt unwelcome in this building. Wed like to thank our customers for being so fantastic and enthusiastic, wed love to see you again for another investigation and also thank you to Victoria Hall for letting us investigate this fascinating and historic building. Truly a wonderful building with a beautiful and inviting atmosphere! - Jas and Lee 👻
