Ghost hunt - 04.03.22

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an interesting night at Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool! We started the night as one large group to investigate Adams Room with some great results on the Melmetre K2s temperature fluctuations coming through on the equipment and some good results on the spirit box here too. Mark and Jack both took photos of an open doorway straight after each other, with Mark capturing a face and Jack capturing a full shadow with face. This was made even more interesting when nothing showed up on any other photos and upon investigating the doorway we couldnt discern anything that could have made those shapes or shadows! We then moved into the large room next door, with further good responses on the temperature sensors, a good human pendulum and interesting responses on the spiritbox. We had frequent K2 spikes in here, but there was an electrical source in a cupboard towards the back of the room, so even though some of these spikes happened at quite some distance from the cupboard we cant be certain that this source definitely wasnt causing them. GROUP ONE: After a short break, group one headed up to room 770, with some fantastic results on catballs and K2s, with the majority of the activity focused in the small single bedroom that was attached. We got some rempod activity and lots of swearing coming through on the spiritbox, which is always exciting! We heard what sounded to be a young boys voice alongside a female voice, but both were struggling to come through over the louder, angry male voice. We spent quite a lot of time in this room, with a steady stream of activity that only seemed to taper out towards the end of our time in here. We then headed off to the Boston Room, but bumped into some staff who were working that night who let us know that they themselves had experienced some activity during our time there too, with one ladies handbag unexplainedly falling off the hook it was hanging off even though it had been hanging there undisturbed for quite some time alongside the heavy wooden front doors to the building opening and closing on their own three times. In the Boston Room we tried a ouija board with some equipment dotted around the room. We didnt manage to get any movement on the board, with the spirit instead communicating through the K2 that we had placed on the same table. GROUP TWO: We had a good experience in the restaurant, with the Mel meter working like Ive never seen it work before- the green light jumping from green to red and the spirit box with the same woman coming through. I asked for a member of staffs name and the name of Liam come through who we later found out was the door staffs boss. We also did an EVP session in here where we heard someone saying shh 🤫 We then moved on to the Big Hall, not much happened in here, but we did have the coat hangers moving on their own. In our time in Room 770 we had the K2 working, but the best part of the room was when Leeann got scratched! We then met up with the other group in the Boston Room where we had a go at doing table tipping and managed to get the table moving. We tried glass work too and it was slow, but the glass was definitely moving and eventually was pushed off the table. Thanks to everyone who joined us, it was definitely an interesting venue with lots of history and plenty of spirit activity throughout the night! As always, thank you for getting so involved during the night and bringing such fantastic energy! Hopefully see you all again soon! - Jas, Mark & Jack 👻
