Built in 1890 as a showpiece for the Midland Railway Company and was once part of the original railway station. It’s played host to many famous guests including the Victorian actor, Sir Henry Irving, who is now said to haunt the building. It’s also believed to be haunted by 2 young servants who brutally lost their lives here in a mysterious incident.
