Thanks to all our guests who attended. The first 1/2 of the night was quiet. We had few whispers and knocks with a couple of words on Spirit Box cone through. However, after break we did get good, intelligent responses through the Spirit Box and few guests seen shadows on the staircase. The sensor wa placed inside a cupboard and was activated by something. Also the light sensor which activates when door opens was triggered, even tho door was shut. Tried an Ouija board and done EVPs. Overall a mixed night spirit wise but thank u for everyone who attended and interacted.

Built in 1538 as part of a family home. It was used to entertain and impress noble guests. It sits in place of what was once part of the Lanercost monks living quarters. During the 1800s, the area became famous for sightings of shape shifting ghosts that were said to be deterred by the use of a bible or a crucifix. In more recent years there have been sightings of ancient soldiers , feelings of being tapped on the shoulder and hearing strange noises such as knocking, clashing metal, groaning, screaming and crying.
